Made from layered plant-based plastic, so colour runs through the material rather than sitting on top — it won't chip. Slightly heavier than titanium, and best cleaned with a damp cloth rather than tissue, which can scratch the finish over time.
Roughly 40% lighter than acetate and naturally hypoallergenic, which matters if you wear glasses 12+ hours a day. It flexes back into shape rather than snapping, so it's the material we recommend for anyone who's broken a frame before.
Anti-glare cuts reflections from screens and headlights. Blue-light filtering reduces the blue wavelength from monitors, useful for long desk days. UV400 blocks both UVA and UVB outdoors — standard on every sunglass frame we sell, not an upcharge.
